Dishwasher is a little noisier than previous dishwasher Also doesnt dry as well unless you use rinse aid. It does an excellent job cleaning dishes.

We just bought our first LG dishwasher and what a pleasant surprise. Not only is it as quiet as the B one that used to be the only quiet dishwasher but it holds more than we could have every imagined. We have the 24 model LDFN4542W with the 3rd rack.

This is an absolute great dishwasher but do NOT download the app. I scanned the QR code and put in my info then had withdraws from my bank but luckily they denied them and when they looked into it they said the QR code had been hacked.

bought the dishwasher. 6 moths ago. the wheels keep falling off the bottom rack. Did get a new bottom rack from factory. With in two days the same problem happen. Will talk to parts house this week.Not satisfied with product.

Quiet and Intuitive

I got this LG dishwasher after my previous mostly dependable Kitchen-Aid washer quit. I was worried the LG would be louder but just the opposite turns out to be quieter. The controls are simple to use and unlike the Kitchen-Aid cant be activated by leaning against them something that happened often. The lay-out of the controls is intuitive so much so I didnt even need the instructions to figure it out. And by the way I really appreciated the one page quick-look instruction sheet. I always disliked having to read through a manual. The only thing Id change is the dishwasher is white but the bottom kick-panel is black and the installation instructions say not to cover up the kick-panel with a trim-panel. Since my trim panels are white like the dishwasher the black stands out. Ill probably take it off and spray paint it white. Overall I like it lots and highly recommend it.

I ordered my dishwasher on January 1 and the wrong dishwasher was delivered on January 23. I have been trying ever since then to get a new replacement from LG but as of today February 3 I still do not have a dishwasher but LG has my money.

I love my new dishwasher. My dishes come out clean no greasy residue. There is a nighttime feature that air dries through the night. Theres no water remaining in the tops of cups in the morning when I use this. It has a third drawer on the top that is not very deep but it is perfect for container lids overflow silverware rubber spatulas sponges knives anything flat. There are little teeth in which the silverware can be placed on edge so quite a bit of silverware can be loaded if you arent using the silverware basket for some reason. The second drawer down which used to be the top drawer has four dish separator sections. Two of the divider sections have a side that will lay down flat so you can put in small pans or larger items. The whole drawer can be raised and lowered a few inches to accommodate tall items in either the second drawer or the lower drawer. I really like this option. The makes it more versatile. The bottom drawer holds the silverware basket. I really like this basket as the lid will hold silverware vertically and separated so that they dont nest. Also there are two separate lids that lift so you can put in small items then close the lid. The small items are now contained so they dont fly. Or you can put in long cooking tools or knives. The bottom basket also has four separator sections. The prong set in two sections each fold down creating a large flat area to accommodate larger items. The bottom drawer is my problem area. It doesnt have a groove for the wheels to glide in which allows it to go off track easily. It slides easily enough when it is not loaded however if there is any weight in the drawer it goes off track. I need to stand directly in front of it and push with both hands to guide it in. If not it will go off track and will need to be wrestled back in place. Other than that issue this is an excellent product but couldnt give it five stars as it really has been a problem for me.

After 3 months my dishwasher did NOT work. Dishes came out as dirty as when put in. Finally after 4 chats with LG agents Anthony replaced the circuit board and informed me I should be using detergent PODS and now it works fine.

My old dishwasher broke on Thanksgiving day so I went to pick out a new one without any pre-thought out ideas of the features I really wanted. I agreed to purchase the one that was soonest available. It turned out that I love the LG dishwasher. It is sleek easy to use and very roomy on the inside. I am surprised that I love the third rack for things like serving spoons bottle caps and other small items. I also like that I can fit so many items in the silverware rack. It has turned out to be a great buy at a reasonable price and my dishes are super clean too

Our research criteria was: product quality price performance quiet and white front. LG nailed all five. Performance is stellar and is much quieter than we expected. There are others with more bells and whistles that cost more but if you want to wash dishes the LDFN4542W is your machine

I brought my dishes into many stores to find a DW that fits tall things on the bottom rack and this one seemed to have the most clearance as well as a 3rd rack that doesnt fit much but silverware. Ive only run it twice but things seemed to come out very clean---even pans with some baked on grease. Only downside is that the bottom rack doesnt have enough tines to hold small casseroles that can tip over.

Everything about this purchase was excellent. We bought the dishwasher at Home Depot and it was on sale making it a solid value. Our delivery date was a little over a week from our purchase date and we regularly received emails on the status of the delivery and how to get ready for receiving the dishwasher. I installed the dishwasher myself and it was one of the easiest installs I have ever done with clear directions. The dishwasher itself has clear displays on the front and is easy to operate. It is super quiet and it is hard to know when it is running. The regular dishwashing cycle is way faster than our old dishwasher. We especially like the feature that displays the lighted word end when it is finished. The old dishwasher had a blue light with no marking to indicate that the blue light indicated the dishes were clean. The door has a really good and smooth click to indicate closure and opens with a slight pull. It is way better than our old dishwasher. I could go on and on but you get the idea. We love our new LG dishwasher.

We have owned and operated our new LG dishwasher for about a month now and couldnt be more pleased. It was a replacement for an older appliance. This new LG is like a whole new invention for us. It is so much quieter and efficient. Love the 3rd upper rack folding tines and stainless interior. We shopped online and looked in stores and feel that the LG price was unparalleled after comparing the features and great looks and reputation of LG. My husband commended my choice even more after installing. He found LG had made everything involved with installation very user friendly from the water supply and electrical connections to the inventive leveling system. Quote Piece of Cake lol.

I absolutely love this LG 3 rack dishwasher. I bought it to replace a Kitchenaid that was about 10 years old. I thought that was the best brand back then. How wrong I was The LG is so quiet I go back at times to see if is actually running. Dishespot and pans come out shining and dry. I could not ask for anything better.

I have never given a negative review before so this is my first. Im sorry I have to do it but the dishwasher I purchased is not good quality. I am very disappointed in the condition in which my glasses china and silverware come out of the dishwasher. The glasses are cloudy the silverware isnt shiny and the china isnt as clean as it should be. I am using the same detergent I used in my old dishwasher. I havent done anything differently. I should have had my old dishwasher repaired. At least everything came out clean. I was also able to decide for myself whether I wanted the drying cycle. This was not a good purchase for me.

This unit its amazingly quiet and does a great job cleaning on the Auto setting. If you leave the dishes sit for a week Express wash setting does not get the dried food off so now I soak the silverware until I am ready to wash. Busy family use probably wont have this problem. The top rack fits an amazing amount of silverware and is more sanitary because you dont have to touch the clean surfaces when done like you would with a side basket. I love the super-deep lower rack able to fit cookie sheets large skillets and large platters. The night dry keeps moisture from accumulating when you wash at bedtime. LG had the features I wanted stainless interior deep rack third rack white exterior. Overall it was easy to install with detailed directions 59 yo female. The only tricky part was knowing which size screws for side-mounting to the cabinet. I used screws that were too small and now they are stuck forever in the dishwasher frame and cant get them back out. Would be nice to have the side-mounting screws included so you dont have to guess length and gauge. Overall nice luxury to have when the whole family comes over and uses every dish in my house

Bought this dishwasher from BestBuy in August 2022. This an open box item was unused. Installed unit and discovered it would not start because door interlock switches were damaged. Also beware of the spring loaded door latch being in the closed/ latched position while the door is open. In that case the door wont snap and latch when closing.

Our other dishwasher was over 20+ years old and what a difference in the clening that this LG dishwasher makes dishes feel sooo clean. Use the 3rd rack some but probably wouldnt miss it if I took it out. Not crazy about the silverware basket - would rather put all the forks in one small spoons etc. together. Could do that with the slits but more trouble than Im interested in. Im sure Ill get use to it. But overall a GREAT dishwasher.
